Green Screen Room Info

I got the green screen room for the entire weekend from May 25th at 6pm to the end of Sunday.

I also got the DIGM lighting kit that has a bunch of stuff.

Allex, the only way to get the tripod was to also take out the EX1, so we'll have a camera for that weekend as well.

They have gels for sale in the equipment room, but not red Liana.

I will be grabbing the equipment on Friday at 2:30pm, and the camera, tripod, and lights will be ours until 1pm Monday.

This is the best we could do, because it's been booked up by other people and film students through the rest of this month.

Hope everyone is ok with this. I'm also putting this on the blog for everyone to see in case they forget.

So weekend of May 25th 6pm - Sunday, keep your schedules as open as possible.

Final Concept

Alien Abduction Scene

Plan on using Alex's Camera which has HD setting, and tons of features to customize things like ISO, etc.

Most of our shots will have green screen as BG.

This will be a suspense-style film.

The main premise of our animation will be someone will be leaving someone's apartment/dorm trying to go somewhere, on their way to Point B they will be stalked by an alien that they never notice. Towards the end of the animation, they will be abducted, and beamed onto the UFO.

Plan on using Alex's robot, or anything that Jamie may have come up with.

We need to figure out times tomorrow night after compositing on when to book the Green-screen room, and get lighting equipment for shooting.

Three Ideas for Final Project

As of right now, we have come up with the following three concept ideas for the final project:


1. Zombie Apocalypse
    - A character attempting to survive in a world of zombies


2. Fallout style Apocalypse

    -Remaining survivor after the fallout.

3. Alien Abduction/Attack

    -Character trying to escape from aliens.
